The unparalleled, long, sandy beaches crash with boisterous waves - excellent for surfing - and low tide reveals natural rock pools for swimming. Foodies flock here for the excellent seafood (Rick Stein now practically owns Padstow.) The historic fishing village of Mousehole is a real gem and has retained its rugged authenticity.
